About Luke Mahoney
It is a unique experience to grow up in Wellington and to now be able to enjoy the best the City has to offer with a family of my own is a privilege.
I feel a strong connection to the city, people, the land, and being a member of Taranaki Whanui ki Te Upolo o Te ika, I am really excited about the changes and challenges the city has in its present and future.
My passion for sports led me to be involved with high-level rugby and representing Wellington, The Hurricanes, and the Maori All Blacks gave me the experience to solidify the strong bond and proud feeling I have for Wellington and its people.
From my time playing rugby in New Zealand, I spent just over a decade in Italy playing and coaching rugby. The opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and learn another language and culture was an experience that gifted me so much, including a family with my wife Eugenia and daughter Lavinia.
From a successful career playing and coaching rugby I know the importance of working towards common goals, the value of good preparation, and the power of teamwork. With the strength of Ray White Leaders proven success and resources behind me, I know I am on a great team.
I firmly believe with the right strategy, open communication, and hard work, anything is possible, and look forward to helping Wellington vendors and purchasers achieve their own goals.
